So, it's been 2 years, since we've lost our brother, Almighty Aziz. 2 Years ago, we cried tears of pain & loss for our fallen brother. Although the the wounds have not yet heald & I will never fully recover from it, I feel like he's forever embedded in my mind. I feel like he's up there keeping a close eye on me & the rest of the people he held close to him. I will never forget our moments together nor will I ever forget how much he influenced my career & how much he's responsible for the lengths I've been able to reach in this music. I have never met anybody like Aziz & since he's died, I see a little bit of him in all of our close family. His little sayings & phrases he used have been adopted by everybody & are common & even at times, when something is said that reminds us of him, it'll make everybody sit back, be quiet, think & recollect a moment with Aziz or a Memory with him that we shared. Everytime I play his music or hear a song we did together, I travel back in time to when we first wrote it & what him & I, or Him, Sincere, & I, or Him, Jermz, Sincere, & I were doing. I can envision every single studio session, every single drug, every single blunt, every single drop of liquor, EVERYTHING. We all have our memories & hold them close, but love to share them to see the smiles light up on others faces and say "Yup, that was Aziz." or "Fuckin guy". This was a guy who didn't have many material things, but was one of the richest men I knew. Till this day, it's hard for me to just bump songs we did, because I get the chills recollecting sitting in our homie, Igor's house writing songs about our life stories or our wild experiences. I'd be lying if I said I still don't shed tears for my fallen homeboy. I visited his grave site today & as I stared at the ground where he lay below, I almost could hear him laughing & doing the same shit he did every day that everybody who knew him loved & as my homie, Flesh poured the Henny onto the grass It brought me back to when me, Aziz, & Sincere opened for Tash of the Alkohliks in Costa Mesa & how Aziz was chilling with Tash & sipping Henny right outta Tash' bottle & Tash had his arm around Aziz & they was cracking up ... Me & Sincere were in the Corner sipping our drinks when we look across & see Aziz & all of Tash's entourage brought in by Aziz & his aura. They were all listening to Aziz go off about this and that ... Didn't mean to go off on a tangent, but just wanted to share some shit with y'all. I don't usually get too personal on these blog shits, but I think since AZIZ had his life cut short @ 24, the world didn't get to know the charasmatic character, "Almighty" Aziz James .... One day when it's my time to go, I will uni0te with Aziz & everybody whom I've lost. The good die young in this world of chaos & hipocracy...
